MANILA, Philippines – Social media personality Marlou Arizala known as Xander Ford was arrested and jailed in Manila late Tuesday, December 22.
This was confirmed by Star Image Artist Management in a Facebook Live.
Xander was detained at Padre Algue police precinct in Tondo for alleged violation on R.A. 9262 or Violence Against Women and their Children after his ex-girlfriend Ysah Cabrejas accused him of rape and abuse.
In June this year, Cabrejas shared on Facebook about the physical abuses she endured while in a relationship with Xander.

The former Hasht5 member denied the accusations and asked for forgiveness. He also wanted to talk to Cabrejas to settle the issue.
"Sana patawarin mo ako at matanggap mo parin bilang kaibigan mo...," he said.
Star Image management general manager David Cabawatan clarified that they will not tolerate the wrongdoings of their talent if the court will give guilty verdict.
Cabawatan advised Xander to change his behavior for his family and those who care for him.
"Magpapasko, lumalambot din ang puso ng lahat. Please, sa darating na bagong taon, magbago ka na, magbago na ang kinagagawian mo, sa magulang mo, sa amin na tumutulong sa iyo," Cabawatan expressed.
Today, Star Image is planning to bail for an amount of P18,000 for his temporary freedom until his trial.
