MANILA, Philippines – While there are so many riders getting pranked with fake booking these days, there is one that got a different kind of ‘fake’ booking. Instead of not getting paid for the order and the customer just disappearing with no trace, this rider received Media Noche blessing from his customer!
Raniel Miranda thought it was just another ordinary job order when he received the booking from Evelyn Gutierrez Cabuhat for some ingredients needed to prepare spaghetti. The order also came with a pack of juice.
The rider quickly went to the grocery store to procure these items for the customer but was surprised when he arrived at Cabuhat’s home to learn that the food items he bought are actually for him, not a real delivery for the customer!
“Pagdating ko sa pick-up point, nagulat ako nang sabihin niya na, ‘I-deliver mo ‘yan sa inyo. Sa ’yo ‘yan,’” Miranda narrated.
“Nakakataba po kayo ng puso.”
Though he did not expect that the things he was buying would turn out to be his to take back home, Miranda is thankful that he was the rider who was lucky enough to get this gift from Cabuhat. The ‘fake’ booking quickly turned into a Media Noche blessing for the rider!
Many netizens felt happy for Miranda’s surprise gift from his customer. Some think that this must surely be good karma for the hardworking rider. Indeed, one of his friends commented in the viral post, thanking the customer for the gift and vouching for the rider.
“God bless you more po mam… Di po kau nagkamali ng binigyan napaka bait pong tao nyang kaibigan ko,” commented one of Miranda’s friends.
Other netizens wished they could also do the same for the riders but admitted they did not have a lot of extra cash. Meanwhile, others wished they could also experience receiving a surprise gift from a random kind hearted stranger…
