MANILA, Philippines – Christmas came early for the lone bettor who won the Php 23.9 million jackpot prize on Saturday night's draw (December 19, 2020) of the Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
The lucky bettor from Rodriguez, Rizal guessed the winning combination 11-34-06-42-15-33.

To claim the check, he/she must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
The selling agent will get a prize commission of 1 percent of the jackpot prize without exceeding PHP1 million.
As provided in the TRAIN law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent final tax. Once the jackpot is claimed by the winner, it would be less 20 percent.
Meanwhile, twenty-nine bettors guessed five correct numbers and will each receive P24,000.
The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Early this month, a bettor from Angeles City, Pampanga won Php 9.4 M Lotto 6/42 jackpot.
Last month, a market vendor from Guiuan, Eastern Samar took home the Php 20.4 milion jackpot in the national lottery. In October, a bettor from Ormoc City, Leyte bagged the Php 48.7 million jackpot prize.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma urged the public to patronize PCSO games to generate more funds to be used to assist Filipinos.
The PCSO serves as the principal government agency for raising and providing funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities of national character.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
