MANILA, Philippines – Tiffany Uy, the student with highest GWA (general weighted average grade) in the history of the University of the Philippines (UP) since World War II, has gone viral again after ranking as Top 5 in the November 2020 Physician Licensure Exams (PLE).
The PLE topnotcher garnered a score of 88.08%, putting her fifth on the list of top 10 examinees, as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) early Thursday, November 26.

Uy first went viral in 2017 after gaining the highest GWA in UP history since World War II. Everyone was amazed as she got a GWA of 1.004 from her course of BS Biology. She graduated as summa cum laude, the highest honor a college student could ever receive from school.

She was also designated as the Class Valedictorian for Batch 2015. At the time, Uy shared that she wants to become a doctor. No one doubted that she would make it. In fact, everyone thought that she would once again ace the course and received the highest grades.
Working hard on her dream to become a doctor, Uy proceeded to Med School where she once again made waves after graduating as magna cum laude and Class Valedictorian of UP Medicine class of 2020. She also received the Dr. Gregorio T. Alvior Jr. Award for Academic Excellence and the Faculty Gold Medal.
After she went viral again, a lot of netizens predicted that she is sure to be on the Top 10 of the physician licensure exams! True enough, when the results were released, Uy is on the list and had made it to Top 5.
