MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released on Tuesday, November 10, the schedule of board examinations for 2021, which includes the opening of online processing, deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, professional upgrading examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) and target date of release of exam result.
The 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for 2021', under PRC Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020, is pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. 8981, authorizing the Commission to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations.
PRC board exam schedule below covers examinations for professional teachers (LET), nurses (NLE), certified public accountants (CPA), physician (PLE), criminologists, electronics engineers (ECE), midwives, electrical engineers (REE), among others.
But due to the prevailing health risks and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines including the surge of new COVID-19 variant cases, most of the board exams especially in April and May 2021 have been postponed.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) earlier approved the request of the PRC to to conduct board exams in May and June 2021.

The SPLE to Overseas Filipino Workers for 2021, shall be scheduled in accordance to PRC Resolution No. 2017-1034 pursuant to R.A. No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.
In the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), PRC advised that requests for additional testing centers outside the PRC Regional Offices shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2012-675 series of 2012 dated August 24, 2012, "Designation of other cities outside PRC Regional Offices as additional testing center for LET."
"Filing of applications, including the submissions of all the required and supporting documents at the Regional Offices and Offsite Service Centers shall be within the period indicated in the schedule. The deadline for filing of application is final and shall be strictly implemented; hence, no extension shall be entertained or considered, except when deadlines fall on legal or regular holidays and non-working holidays. In the said case, the deadline shall be automatically moved onto the immediately succeeding working day," PRC said.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, most of the PRC board exams this year were postponed for health and safety purposes. Only the physician board exam (PLE) pushed through as needed in the country's medical workforce.
PRC also started initial steps for the proposed online or computer-based board exams that would be useful especially on the pandemic and to adopt practice of other countries.

The SPLE to Overseas Filipino Workers for 2021, shall be scheduled in accordance to PRC Resolution No. 2017-1034 pursuant to R.A. No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.
In the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), PRC advised that requests for additional testing centers outside the PRC Regional Offices shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2012-675 series of 2012 dated August 24, 2012, "Designation of other cities outside PRC Regional Offices as additional testing center for LET."
"Filing of applications, including the submissions of all the required and supporting documents at the Regional Offices and Offsite Service Centers shall be within the period indicated in the schedule. The deadline for filing of application is final and shall be strictly implemented; hence, no extension shall be entertained or considered, except when deadlines fall on legal or regular holidays and non-working holidays. In the said case, the deadline shall be automatically moved onto the immediately succeeding working day," PRC said.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, most of the PRC board exams this year were postponed for health and safety purposes. Only the physician board exam (PLE) pushed through as needed in the country's medical workforce.
PRC also started initial steps for the proposed online or computer-based board exams that would be useful especially on the pandemic and to adopt practice of other countries.

I write in behalf of my daughter, PRECIOUS LOVELLA FATIMA P. USTARES, who is applying for the Psychometrician board exdm by August. We are from Puerto Princesa Palawan, but she graduated from CPU, JARO, ILOILO.
Upon request of her PRC birth certificate, there are descripancies in her first name and surname.
It would be a big dis appointment on her part if she cannot take the board exam because of her birth certificate.
In view of the above, may i respectfully request if it would be possible to allow her use her old NSO birth certificate while we are processing our petition for correction of data in her PSA birth Certificate.

ReplyDeleteI file already for the May 2020 exam for civil engineering and it was postponed november 2020 then again postponed on may 2021, until it was schedule November 14 and 15, 2021. is my NOA still valid for this coming November 14,15, 2021 examination?

ReplyDeleteAsk lang po sana sa nakakaalam.anu po yung updates sa mga examinees ng march 2020.yung naka file noon wala naba? Naka file kasi ako ng at mag eexam sana ng march 2020 pero hnd kona masundan ang updates ng prc please pa enlight naman sa baguio pala yung place of exam ko.ty.
