MANILA, Philippines – Miss Iloilo City Rabiya Mateo is the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2020, crowned today, October 25, in the grand coronation at the Baguio Country Club in Baguio City. The full list of winners and updates are available on this page as announced.
The Miss Universe Philippines competition under its new organization, challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic, named the successor of Gazini Ganados of Talisay, Cebu, the winner of Binibining Pilipinas 2019.

The judges
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and ACT-CIS Representative Eric Yap are among the judges of the finale competition.
The list also includes fashion director Jackie C Aquino, Frontrow founder and CEO Sam Verzosa, IPG Mediabrands Philippines CEO Venus Navalta, Baguio first lady Arlene Magalong, Procter & Gamble group director for media Arthur Peña, and Raymond delos Santos.

Organizers said there will be no live audience during the production of the first edition of the Miss Universe Philippines competition due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The grand finale will be held at 10:30 am PH time. MUP 2020 will also be aired on GMA-7 at 9 am with a replay telecast on the same night at 10:30 pm.
