MANILA, Philippines – Avid Kapamilya viewers and supporters rejoice as It's Showtime host and comedian Vice Ganda hinted possible return to free TV of ABS-CBN shows. This might be the confirmation of the rumored blocktime deal between ABS-CBN and ZOE TV.
“Naku! Naku! Abang abang lang kayo jan,” said Vice as he happily announced good news to Madlang People during the opening segment of the noontime show on Friday, October 2.

After the denial of ABS-CBN's 25-year legislative franchise application on July 10, the embattled network continues to find ways to reach Kapamilyas through Kapamilya Channel on satellite and cable and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook.
"Diba sabi ko sa inyo Madlang People, better days are coming," he added referring to his tweet on Thursday and said "Kitakits."
It's Showtime co-hosts then asked, "Saan?" and "Kailan ba yan?"
“2-2, eh kung 1 plus 1 equals 2, edi 1 and 1 equals 11,” said Vice.
This month, It's Showtime is celebrating their 11th anniversary. The return to free TV may be soon.

Earlier reports said that Bro. Eddie Villanueva of ZOE Broadcasting Network and ABS-CBN's management already agreed to a blocktime agreement.
Aside from It's Showtime, reports said ABS-CBN's flagship news program TV Patrol, the longest-running teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and musical program ASAP Natin’To are also part of the blocktime deal.
ZOE TV and GMA News TV
ZOE TV, with headquarters in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, was assigned frequency rights of Channel 11 for analog and Channel 20 for digital signal under call letters DZOE-TV in Metro Manila. The Congress passed its franchise to operate on July 17, 2016.
The blocktime arrangement of GMA News TV and ZOE TV ended in June 2019, with the former moved its operations via UHF 27. ZOE, the first broadcasting company who officially switched and migrated to digital broadcast via Light TV 33, re-aired back on analog broadcast via its flagship TV station VHF 11 on June 22, 2020.
ZOE Channel now on SKYcable
SKY on Friday announced to add ZOE TV on Channel 11 in all SKYcable plans starting October 5, 2020.
"Watch out for the latest details of Zoe channel soon!," the advisory said.
O Shopping with current assignment on Channel 11 will move to Channel 3 in Mega Manila and Channel 21 in Digital Regional Areas, effective October 5. It will cease broadcast effective November 1, 2020. Its last day of transmission is on October 31, 2020 at 11:59PM.

ReplyDeleteSana kung pagbabalik na ang ABS-CBN sa Free TV maka-expanded din ang ZOE TV sa Baguio, Laoag, Naga, Legazpi, Batangas, Isabela, Palawan, Tacloban, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Dumaguete, Zamboanga, CdeO, Davao, GenSan, Butuan at Cotabato kahit VHF o UHF channels ang dapat gamitin ang dating frequencies ng ABS-CBN na naka-assign tapos magkaroon na ang satellite-selling stations for ZOE TV para sa analog at digital transmitter facilitie tapos inaayos at ipagpatayo ang baguhin transmitter tower kagaya ng ABS-CBN dati.
