The exact time of occurrence was recorded at 6:13:21 AM with epicenter at Bayabas, Surigao Del Sur.
The earthquake that occurred has a tectonic origin with 77 km depth of focus.
The tremor was felt at Intensity I in Surigao City and Gingoog City.
Phivolcs is not expecting damage after the quake but warned that aftershocks may happen.
