MANILA, Philippines – At least 10 food delivery riders were pranked by one person, sparking outrage among netizens who are calling for punishment once the culprit is caught.
Netizen Natalie Dela Cruz shares photos of some of the riders who were apparently duped by one person into making a delivery at a certain address in Pilar Village, Las Piñas City. However, when the riders arrived, at least 10 of them, they would soon discover that they were supposed to make a delivery to a certain “AJ Pande”, but there is no one by that name at the address.
According to Dela Cruz, she is among the online sellers who were duped by this AJ Pande. She angrily shared the photos of the riders to who flocked to the address, only to find a senior citizen opening the door and telling them that no person with that name lived at that house.
Dela Cruz believes that this AJ Pande is not the real name of the person behind the cruel prank.
“For sure, 'di niya real name 'yang AJ Pande. God Bless you.”
In light of the incident, many netizens are calling for the passage of the law for SIM card registration and for a national ID to be implemented so that things like this won’t happen anymore.
