MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced today, June 17, the cancellation of all remaining examinations via Pen-and-Paper Test (PPT) for this year and the reset of suspended March 15, 2020 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in 2021.
CSC cited the continuing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic as it resolved the proposal through CSC Resolution No. 2000596 promulgated June 16, 2020.
Here is the list of CANCELLED civil service examinations via Pen-and-Paper Test (PPT) for CY 2020:

For the reset of postponed March 2020 CSE-PPT, CSC said "a separate issuance on this matter shall be released in due time."
The CS exams last March, was suspended five days before the test day, as President Rodrigo Duterte declared a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines and called for the implementation of urgent, critical measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
It was supposed to be held in 66 testing locations nationwide with an estimated total of 293,845 individuals nationwide registered to take the test.
Early May, the agency also announced the suspension of filing applications for August 9, 2020 CSE-PPT in view of the crisis and enforcement of the community quaratine in the country.
