MANILA, Philippines – Actor Sam Milby publicly announced his relationship with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
"Worth every second of the wait. Most special birthday yet," Sam captioned his Instagram post on Saturday with a sweet photo with Catriona kissing her forehead.
On Friday, Catriona had a surprise greeting with Sam and he was giddy with a response "Thank you and yes, you're very special."
It was happened during a Facebook Live to celebrate Sam turning 36, co-hosted by his friends John Prats and comedian Pooh.
The 26-year-old beauty queen told him: "Hey, Sam! Happy, happy birthday. I hope that you have an amazing year ahead. More birthdays. More happiness. You are loved by so, so many."
"Happy Birthday Sam! And soooo happy for you and @catriona_gray !! Stay happy and in love," commented Erickson Raymundo, head of Cornerstone which handles both Sam and Catriona's careers.
Angelica Panganiban also expressed her joy for the lovebirds, "Ayiiie! Happy birthday sam! Very very happy for the both of you!"
Other stars and netizens also pour their birthday greetings and messages for the new couple.
It was last year when rumors romantically linking the two began.
In January this year, Catriona in an interview with Boy Abunda said Sam is not courting her and clarified that they are just friends.
