MANILA, Philippines – Fire struck residential area in Pasay City on Sunday afternoon, May 17.
TXTFIREPhilippines, an automated emergency dispatch system, reported the visible smoke at M. Dela Cruz St. in Pasay at 12:49 pm.
Fire was raised to second and third alarm at 12:56 pm and 1:02 pm, respectively.
According to ABS-CBN News reporter MJ Felipe, the ongoing fire is in Barangay 130, near Gloria street in Pasay.
Firefighters have been dispatched to put out the fire.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Pasay shared videos of the ongoing fire operation.
Thick smoke also seen in several areas in Makati and nearby cities.
UPDATE: At 2:10 pm, BFP Pasay declared fire under control.
