MANILA, Philippines – “If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again…”
A young woman who flunked the 2018 Bar Exams took the test again and would surprise everyone as she ranked No. 4 this time around! Wow.
Dawna Fya Bandiola graduated with a Law Degree from the San Beda College-Alabang in 2018. But she failed her first try on the Bar Exams that year. While that was certainly heartbreaking, Bandiola did not give up. Instead, she accepted her fate and believed that it was not yet God’s will for her to get what she prayed for.

She told host Julius Babao that she felt a bit apprehensive about waiting for the results of the 2019 Bar Exams. Instead of constantly refreshing her phone like other exam takers were probably doing, Bandiola admitted that she was so nervous that she tried to find other things to do to distract herself.
I will do my best, I will do my part and then He will do the rest,” she admitted.
Bandiola was, therefore, ecstatic when she received a message from someone that she passed the exams. With a score of 88.3360%, Bandiola is fourth highest scorer in the 2019 Bar Exams that saw only 2,103 passers out of 7,685 examinees!
Congratulations, Atty. Dawna Fya Bandiola. You are definitely an inspiration to many…
