MANILA, Philippines – A woman earned ire of netizens after someone posted that she was selling 500-ml bottles of alcohol for Php750 each! But she later claimed that she’s just a victim of a poser account who used her name and photos to create the now viral post.
It all started when someone posted screenshots of the conversation between a buyer and the seller of the ultra-expensive bottles of 500-ml Green Cross 70% isopropyl alcohol. While a 500-ml bottle sells for around Php70 to Php85 in grocery stores and pharmacies, this seller appears to have taken advantage of the shortage by selling these items for a whopping price of Php750 per bottle.
The netizen shared a screenshot taken from a Facebook group wherein this seller was offering the bottles of Green Cross alcohol. Since the pictures from that ad had huge bottles that seem to be at least 1 liter, the buyer asked how much the 500-ml bottle costs.
As expected, the buyer was surprised to learn that the Php750 price in the ad is actually for the 500-ml bottle! The seller even offers a discount if he buys in bulk. Instead of paying Php7,500 for 10 bottles, the buyer will only pay Php7,000.
When the buyer tries to call out the seller for taking advantage of the COVID-19 scare, the latter got angry and told him that he should just keep quiet because he doesn’t have the money to buy the items.
“Kung wala kang perang pambili manahimik ka na lang! Pweeee! Walang pera ka kasi!” the seller replied angrily.
Now angry himself, the buyer blocks the seller but shared screenshots of their conversation on Facebook. The post attracted so much attention online that it received over 100k shares in just a few hours, mostly from netizens who angry at the seller for taking advantage of the situation.
Later, a woman who has the same name and Facebook profile photo as the original seller in the post tries to clear her name by announcing that she’s not an online seller and that someone had just used her name and profile photo to create the post.

Needless to say, once the immediate needs are taken care of, the storage area should be immediately locked. Only members of the management team should have keys or the combination to the lock. May I also recommend that the locks of the storage area(s) are changed on a regular basis as to avoid the possible duplication of keys.. empty liquor bottles wholesale
