MANILA, Philippines – Aspiring teachers who were previously scheduled to take the March 2020 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) will need to wait for at least several months before the resumption of the postponed board exams.
Last March 11, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the cancellation of all scheduled board exams for March and April 2020, which includes the March 2020 LET, as President Rodrigo Duterte declared state of public health emergency throughout the country due to the threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

While PRC says that "announcement on the new schedules of the affected licensure examinations will be posted on the PRC website and/or PRC social media accounts", hopefuls are asking "when is the possible reschedule /new dates of postponed/cancelled March 2020 LET and other board exams?"

We are giving emphasis on March 2020 LET on this page as this licensure test draws biggest number of takers among all PRC exams.
May 8, 2020 Update: The cancelled March 2020 teacher's board exam is rescheduled on September 27, 2020, which coincides with the second batch of LET this year.
Enhanced community quarantine in Luzon
Duterte declared enhanced community quarantine in Luzon effective March 17 and was extended for several months. The additional restrictions aim to further combat the effect of the continuing and increasing spread of COVID-19.
Dr. Darwin Bandoy of the College of Veterinary Medicine at UP Los Baños and the School of Veterinary Medicine at University of California at Davis predicts that the reported cases will only peak in the last week of June 2020.
Dr. Bandoy’s findings also coincide with the study abroad, in US and the UK.
The government might have to enforce prolonged and more stringent lockdown for the rest of 2020 for some areas.
