MANILA, Philippines – At least thirteen (13) patients in the Philippines have recovered from coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Department of Health (DOH) confirmed in its report Saturday afternoon, March 21.
DOH noted that four (4) of the newly recovered patients were "elderly" and belong to the "vulnerable sector" or those who are most a risk in relation to the outbreak. They were PH16, PH17, PH41 and PH49.
Recovery rate in the Philippines is now 4% out of 307 reported cases.
The health department added that one of four elderly who recovered is a severe case.

The first two recovered patients were Chinese nationals, both female (PH1 and PH3) and had gone back to their country after they tested negative for the infection.
