MANILA, Philippines – Banks announced schedule and guidelines to provide essential financial services amid the enforcement of Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine starting today, March 17, 2020.
Several banks will remain operational but on shortened banking hours using their skeletal workforce.
Here's the updated list of bank schedule as the country is facing threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19):
Banco de Oro (BDO)
Select branches in Metro Manila and Luzon will be open with shortened banking hours. BDO said that a list of open branches will be posted on their social media accounts. Meanwhile, ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines, and Online Banking services will be available.
Visayas and Mindanao branches will continue with regular banking hours.
Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI)
Select branches will remain open in shortened office hours to serve your banking needs. They will deploy skeleton staffing and will limit the number of people inside the branch at any given time following the social distancing measure.
All 300 BPI BanKo branches nationwide will remain open.
All banks operations in Visayas and Mindanao are business as usual.
Metrobank
Almost all branches of Metrobank are open. Branches in NCR and Luzon will have shortened operating hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm while Visayas and Mindanao branches will remain on regular bank schedule from 9:00 to 4:30 pm.
Metrobank encouraged their clients to use e-channels such as ATMs, CAMs, Metrobank Mobile App and other online services.
Only limited number of customers can enter the branch to avoid crowding in contained space. Once inside, you need to maintain 1 meter distance from fellow customer and bank staff.
China Bank
Select bank branches are open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Check clearing cut-off is 12:30pm.
They encourage their customers to use China Bank digital channels, available 24/7 -- ATMs, Online Banking, Phone Banking, and Mobile App.
Philippine National Bank (PNB)
Business as usual. All PNB branches will serve clients from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
For ease of doing business they encourage clients to use their PNB Internet Banking and Mobile Banking App.
Security Bank
Select branches in Luzon will remain open while all branches in Visayas and Mindanao are open.
They will shorten branch hours to 3:00 pm nationwide.
Security Bank will deploy a skeletal workforce to support banking operations and will increase sanitation efforts at branches and offices.
For immediate cash needs, all Security bank's ATMs and CAMs are operational.
Land Bank of the Philippines
Branches in the NCR and Luzon will operate with a skeletal workforce, while Visayas and Mindanao will implement business as usual.
They also encouraged clients to use their ATMs, as well as electronic banking channels, such as the LANDBANK Mobile Banking App, iAccess, WeAccess, Link.BizPortal, Electronic Tax Payment System and Phone Access.
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)
Select RCBC branches in Luzon will be open UNTIL 3:00 pm.
All branches in Visayas and Mindanao remain open.

UnionBank
Select number of branches in Luzon and all in Visayas and Mindanao are open. The list of closed branches is available here.
Branches will be open from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
To implement social distancing, they are limiting the number of people who can be inside the branch at any given time.
NOTE: UnionBank is also giving qualified credit cardholders in good standing and with due dates from March 17 to April 15, 2020, the ability to delay UnionBank credit card payments for 30 days from the original due date, with no late fee.
Citibank Philippines
Branches will operate from 9 am to 3 pm.
Cebu branch is operating on a business as usual capacity.
They also deployed skeletal workforce in their Makati and Greenhils branch.
United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB)
Select branches in Luzon, operated by a skeletal workforce, are open at shortened banking hours.
The rest of UCPB branches in Visayas and Mindanao are ready to serve clients in full force.
UCPB ATMs nationwide and Cash Deposit Machines in select NCR branches are also available.
Maybank Philippines
These branches are open:
All Visayas and Mindanao branches and lending centers/satellite desks are open.
Robinsons Bank
All Metro Manila and Luzon branches are closed.
Visayas and Mindanao branches will implement new banking schedule.
They encouraged clients to enroll their accounts in RBank Digital (Online Banking). This facility can handle various transactions such as Bills payment, fund transfers, balance inquiry and more.
NOTE: Robinsons Bank is giving a grace period for the payments due on March 16 to April 15, 2020 for eligible customers.
