The prosperity dance is part of the wedding traditions in the Philippines. Through the dance, the guests can send out their wishes, in the form of money pinned to the newlyweds’ clothes, for the couple to have a prosperous life together. But a lucky couple appear to really have good fortune after they received Php629,000 at their wedding’s prosperity dance!
A lot of netizens have expressed envy over photos of the couple from Davao City whose clothes were covered with makeshift fans of money – in Php500 and Php1,000 bills. The paper money fans adorned their clothes like decorations, but netizens were more interested in how much the newlyweds were able to receive.
