MANILA, Philippines – A kind couple adopted a young boy even if they could barely feed themselves and their other children due to poverty. But their kindness touched the heart of that kid so much that when he grew up to become a successful young man, he gave them a better life that’s beyond their wildest dreams.
Jayvee Lazaro Badile II happily shares photos with his adoptive parents who had been kind to him even in their poverty.
“When Nanay and Tatay adopted me, it wasn’t a good life. Nanay is a vendor, Tatay is a porter,” he wrote in a post on Facebook that quickly went viral. “Now that I have the chance to give back to them, I will make sure they will live their dreams better than what they could ever imagine. ❤️”
Indeed, he lived a difficult life along with the rest of the nine members of his adoptive family in Bocaue, Bulacan. But even if they were poor, the family was filled with love. The couple treated him like their own children. So, when he found fortune as Branch Manager / New Business Manager at Sun Life Philippines, he made sure to share his wealth with them.
He took his adoptive parents on vacations in and outside the Philippines. So far, Jayvee has brought them to New Zealand, Australia, and Dubai! He promised to show them the world – and he did! He spent the past 28 years struggling with them, but he’s now ready to shower them with all the material things they never had in the past.
This inspiring young man also built a mansion for his adoptive parents and siblings, sharing their story in a heartwarming video that showcased their old rented home. Watch the video here:
As they enjoyed a feast for Christmas 2019, he could not help but post a throwback of a Christmas celebration not so long ago when they barely had food on their table. That was in 2012. Today, they could eat delicious foods as much as they want, travel outside the Philippines, and truly enjoy their lives without worrying whether they would have something to eat the next day.
A lot of netizens expressed admiration on the couple for adopting Jayvee despite their poverty – and they also admired this young man for repaying his adoptive parents’ sacrifice and love. What an inspiring family…
