MANILA, Philippines – After almost two weeks of competition, the region is now all eyes on the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Closing Ceremony today, December 11 at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium in Capas, Tarlac. Check out on this page the program and ways to watch this historic event via livestream or on TV.
The Philippines, officially claiming the title as overall champion of the biennial sports event amassed a record-breaking 149 golds and 385 medals overall. Vietnam made a final day push to snare the second spot with 96 golds. Thailand settled for the third spot with 92 golds.

The program
The must-watch Closing Ceremony will feature international artists – our very own Arnel Pineda of Journey and The Black Eyed Peas set to deliver world-class performances.
Pineda will sing the national anthem at 5 p.m. to be followed by a drone show for the usual parade of athletes and team officials.
The flag of the Philippines will be carried by Roger Casugay, known for his inspiring heroic act for saving Indonesian opponent from 'drowning' during their gold medal match in surfing.

SEA Games volunteers and workforce will be honored while a music video from Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo is being played.
Pineda will perform again together with KO Jones Band before Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee chairman and House Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano delivers a speech.
Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president and Tagaytay congressman Bambol Tolentino will officially close the 2019 SEA Games.
It will be followed by the flag retreat, extinguishing of the cauldron and the handover of hosting duties to Vietnam for the 2021 edition of the sporting event.
A grand fireworks will display after the performances of Apl.de.ap and the Black Eyed Peas.
How to watch the Closing Ceremony
On Tuesday, the organizing committe announced online that tickets to the Closing Ceremony are no longer available.
Instead, they invite the public to watch the live broadcast of the Closing Ceremony at the following fan zones:
1.New Clark City (across Aquatics Center)
2. Clark Parade Grounds
3. Subic Bay Transport Terminal (across Subic Gym)
4. World Trade Center Parking Lot
NOTE: Admission to the fan zones is free on a first come, first served basis. Security personnel shall be limiting entry for purposes of public safety.
As also announced, Filipinos may also watch the ceremony via these channels:

2. TV5
3. PTV
4. CNN Philippines
