The exact time of occurrence was recorded at 04:52:56 AM with epicenter at 14.98°N, 122.65°E - 042 km N 46° E of Jomalig, Quezon.
The earthquake that occurred has a tectonic origin with 7 km depth of focus.
The strong quake was felt at Intensity IV in Guinayangan, Quezon;
Intensity II in Marikina City, Navotas City, Quezon City;
and Intensity I in Muntinlupa City.
