MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATED) The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported a magnitude 4.9 earthquake that shook parts of Northern Luzon on Wednesday evening, November 13, 2019.
The exact time of occurrence of the quake was recorded at 10:28:02 PM with epicenter at 16.26°N, 121.72°E - 014 km N 71° E of Nagtipunan, Quirino.
The earthquake, previously announced as magnitude 4.8, has a tectonic origin with 60 km depth of focus.
The strong quake was felt at Intensity IV in Nagtipunan and Maddela, Quirino and Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Intensity III in Baguio City.
