MANILA, Philippines – The K-Pop world is mourning right now as the popular star, Goo Hara was found dead on Sunday at her home in Seoul, South Korea. She was 28.
According to report of Allkpop, Hara was found unconscious at 6 PM KST at Gangnam's Cheongdam neighborhood of Seoul.
Investigation of Seoul Gangnam Police Station is now ongoing. The cause of death is not yet clear whether she killed herself.
Hara was a member of the South Korean girl group Kara, and had also appeared in television dramas including City Hunter (2011).
In March this year, she attempted to commit suicide after an ex-boyfriend attempted to blackmail her with threats of assault. The incident caused for the termination of her contract in an agency.
Hara signed new contract in a talent management agency in Japan where she appeared in TV shows, fashion events and even released a solo single this month.
She was one of the closest friends of Sulli, who committed suicide in October.
