On Facebook, netizen Kewol Oro shared a touching story of an elderly "gas boy" who continues to work even at the age of 68.

Oro shared that the 68-year-old gas boy is known as "Tatay Bro" and has been working in the same gas station for 47 years. Although he resigned from the company two years ago, he continues to visit and offers his services to check the air pressure of vehicles' wheels.

Oro explained, "Nagresign na daw po siya 2 years ago at minsan pumupunta pa rin siya sa Shell at ang kinikita niya ay galing sa mga tip na binibigay sa kanya- umeekstra-ekstra siya sa air pump section on his free will para may konting kita at exercise sya."

Since he is no longer employed, Lolo Bro is relying on tips from drivers. Oro appealed to the kindness of the public to be generous when they would chance to see Lolo Bro. He said, "'Pag nagpahangin po kayo ng gulong sa Shell TS Cruz (Alabang-Zapote Rd, Almanza) at si tatay "Bro" Boy, 68 years old ang nag-assist sa inyo, bigyan niyo po sya ng tip kahit papano."

Meanwhile, Lolo Bro's inspiring story has caught the attention of the popular Syrian vlogger. Basel Manadil, also known as "The Hungry Syrian Wanderer" decided to gift Lolo Bro a few blessings.

He asked Lolo Bro to check the air pressure of his tires, and handed him P4,000 tip. The elderly gas boy was, of course, surprised. But Basel wasn't done yet, he went with Lolo Bro to his house to meet the rest of his family. He then gave them grocery items and rice.

Basel said, "Nakakainspire si Lolo Bro, dahil sa sipag sa buhay! LODI PETMALU talaga ang mga simpleng tao na mga ito, dapat hinahangaan at tinutularan. Kalabaw lang ang tumatanda, indeed."
