MANILA, Philippines – Team Vice Ganda's 'hairstorical' performance won the title of Magpasikat 2019 grand champion.
The winners of Magpasikat Week, as part of It's Showtime's momentous 10th anniversary celebration, were announced today, October 26 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.
Team Vice Ganda's empowering and touching performance about hair and loving self on Saturday was admired not just by the hurados but also the madlang people. It took inspiration from those affected by alopecia, an autoimmune skin disease which results to hair loss.
The team got 9.7 points from the judges composed of MTRCB Chair Rachel Arenas, former ballerina Shirley Halili-Cruz, topnotch choreographer Andy Alvis, former matinee idol Diether Ocampo, head of Public Affairs and Information Office of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines (NCAA) Rene Napeñas, TV host Tim Yap, Lord of Scents Joel Cruz, celebrity doctor Vicki Belo, veteran news anchor Tina Monzon- Palma and punong hurado actor Edu Manzano.

As the "Magpasikat Week" champions, Vice Ganda, along with “Miss Q & A" queens, won one million pesos (Php 1,000,000) for their chosen charity, trip for the team to Coron, Palawan, among others.
Ranking second (9.4 points) and third (9.0 points) were the team of Vhong Navarro and Mariel Rodriguez; and the team of Anne Curtis and Amy Perez, taking home P 700,000 and P600,000 for their chosen charities, respectively.
The two remaining teams are the trio of Jhong Hilario, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz; and Karylle and Ryan Bang.
NOTE: Judge Vicki Belo pledged to give P 500,000 each for the non-winners.
