The SM Foundation has opened their application process for interested students for the Academic Year (AY) 2020-2021.

Step-by-step Application Process
1. Online Application
Go to https://scholarship.sm-foundation.org/.
On the STUDENT tab, click the register button. Carefully accomplish the application form and upload the required documents.
2.) Confirm your Application within 7 days. Make sure to log -in to the SM Scholarship Online System within 7 days after the submission of the online application. If you fail to confirm it, your application will be considered void.
3.) Wait for the e-mail confirmation stating if you are qualified or if your application was considered invalid.
4.) Pass the examination and interview. After 15 days of receiving the e-mail confirmation, you will receive the schedule of exam. Exam passers will be announced on the same day. Interview will follow shortly after passing the exam.
5.) The SM Foundation team will conduct a house visit.
6.) After completing the above steps, SM Foundation will confirm your choice of course and school.
7.) Lastly, you will receive an email notification indicating the schedule of orientation and contract signing

Qualifications
To qualify as an SM Foundation scholar, you must fulfill the following:
- Must be a Grade 12 high school graduate from public schools or private high school graduate with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools in the areas covered:
- Luzon: NCR, Albay, Bataan, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Sorsogon, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac, Zambales
- Visayas: Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, Negros Occidental
- Mindanao: Agusan del Norte, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, Zamboanga del Sur
- A general weighted average grade of at least 88% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester
- With a total household income of less than or equal to P150,000 per year

Requirements
Interested applicants must prepare the following:
- Accomplished online application form
- Attachments to the online application:
- Parent's or Guardian's 2018 Income Tax Return / Certification of Non-Filing of Income / Certificate of Indigency
- Latest Grade 12 report card
- Birth Certificate
- 2x2 ID picture
- Sketch of home to the nearest SM mall
Step-by-step Application Process
1. Online Application

Important: Online application portal will be accessible until December 31, 2019. Walk-in applicants will not be accepted.
