MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the topnotchers or top 10 passers in the October 2019 Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam as results are released on Friday, October 25, 2019 or in four (4) working days after the exam.
The Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) conducted the ECE licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena and Tuguegarao on October 19 and 20.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, 3-4 working days is usual number of days before the release of results based on the previous examinations.

In the same period last year, Daniel Dilag Cabrales of Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Manila led the passers with 92.00%. Justine Allen Cayanan Arciga from Holy Angel University (HAU) ranked second with 90.30%.
In the October 2017 ECE board exam, Dino Dominic Forte Ligutan of De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila topped the board with 94.40%. It was followed by Williard Joshua Decena Jose of University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman garnering 93.40%.
In the October 2016 exams, Masaru Quemquem Nakaegawa of University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the board with 92.30%. Meryl Andal Aldover of De La Salle University (DLSU) - Lipa, Ronnel Padiernos Dayawon of University of the East (UE) - Caloocan, Marlon Tagolino Moscare of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Taguig and Moises dela Cruz Ramos of Saint Louis University (SLU) ranked second with identical average grade of 89.30%.
