MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) named the topnotchers (top 10) of August 2019 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 or in five (5) days after the announcement of results or the complete list of passers. CSC released the CSE-PPT results on Thursday, October 3 or in sixty (60) days after the exam.
AUGUST 2019 CSE-PPT RESULTS SUMMARY
The second CSE-PPT this year was conducted in at least 63 testing centers nationwide on Sunday, August 4.
CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the March 2019 CSE-PPT, Donna Rizalyn Leus from Southern Tagalog led the 24,304 new Professional eligibles as she garnered a rating of 87.03. On the second spot was Daniel Geslani from National Capital Region (NCR), with an 86.94 rating.
In the August 2018 civil service exam, Salveregina Samuelle Sarnillo from Central Visayas, with a rating of 92.35, bested 159,283 examinees of the Career Service Professional level. Feristelle Rosef Tambalo from Southern Tagalog followed with 91.96%.
In the March 2018 CSE-PPT, CY Rodriguez from the National Capital Region (NCR) got the highest place with 87.01%. Maryliz Zubiri, also from NCR, ranked second with 86.66%.
How to get test results
Once announced, the complete list of successful examinees of the August 4, 2019 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed here or on the official website of CSC.
Schedule for the release of Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability of and the requirements and procedures in claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.
Moreover, examinees, both passed and failed, may generate their individual rating through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed on the CSC website.
