There’s a growing trend these days for tiny homes, with many made from container vans. These are quicker and easier to build because the main structure is already complete; though you still have to make provisions for cutting out portions for the doors and windows, among other necessary things.
One guy recently went viral for building a tiny house from a container van he got. Amiel Colesio shared the progress on Facebook, making a lot of people wish they could also have the same thing at their place.

Colesio wrote on his Facebook account, posting photos to proudly share his tiny but impressive dream home:
“Tiny House ✅
I've been addicted to tiny houses na napapanuod ko sa YouTube at nakikita ko sa fb [ Facebook]. Hehe. Siguro nakakita na rin kayo at nangarap na magkaroon nun. Isa na ako dun!
Medyo di lang ako kumain ng onti para makaipon pang bili ng mga materyales pero syempre di ko rin 'to makukumpleto kung di ko pinilit tatay ko. Haha. "ipaparenta ko kasi, pa" 😂

Proving that he started from scratch, began with a photo of himself outside the container van. It was clearly not brand new as it had plenty of dents and even some holes, but this young man would soon transform this shipping container into a dreamy home.

Starting out with a rough sketch, he began working on his dream.

While he did not detail out how he managed to transform the container van into a home, he showed photos of its progress. For instance, cement appears to be used in building the kitchen area and providing insulation on the walls. Cement was also poured on the floor.

Rectangular holes were cut out from the shipping container for the huge sliding windows and the door. One portion of the house was set for the living room that doubles as bedroom that Colesio would later furnish with a sofa bed.

The other end is designated for the kitchen and dining area.

The upper part of the container was fitted with railings to transform the area into a second-floor roof garden. After the floorboards were added and finishing touches were placed on the walls, Colesio managed to create a small but beautiful home! No wonder his post went viral.
