MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed on Friday, August 30, the list of top performing schools in the August 2019 Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena and Tacloban on August 25 and 26.

In the same period last year, Malayan Colleges - Laguna was the ME board exam top performing school with 94.74% or 54 out of 57 passed. Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Manila and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) - Lucban ranked second and third, 88.08% and 87.41%, respectively.
In the September 2017 exam, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools with 96.15% or 50 out of 52 passed the tests. It was followed by Mindanao University of Science and Technology - CDO garnering 95.00%.
In the September 2016 exams, UP-Diliman also led the schols with 100% passing rate or 72 examinees passed the exam. Batangas State University (BatSU) - Alangilan ranked second with 98.96%.
