MANILA, Philippines – The San Miguel Beermen and TNT Katropa's 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals best-of-seven titular series showdown began on Sunday, August 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Beermen are the reigning all-Filipino five-time champs looking for the second jewel of a possible grand slam in PBA Season 44. They may have rollercoaster ride attaining the finale slot, but they are focused for a championship brawl from the very start.
TNT Katropa, who booked top finish in the elims, sustained its charge in the playoffs.
The finals showdown is expected to be a duel between top imports TNT's Terrence Jones and SMB's Chris McCullough.
Tip off is set at 6:30 pm.
