For many people, high school is one of the best times in their lives. This is the time when they met many of their craziest, funniest friends with whom they share many fantastic memories together. For many, that could mean being in a barkada that breaks the rules together, cutting classes and escaping the school by climbing the fences hidden at the back.
But if you think that only happened in the days of your youth, you are wrong. Kids these days still do that! Recently, photos of some students climbing a rather dangerous-looking fence at their school went viral; but netizens could not agree whether these students were right or wrong.
On Facebook page Balitang SJDM, photos of several students showed that they were climbing a fence, apparently at the back of their school or somewhere that was not easy for the teachers or the security guards to see.
GI sheets were placed on the fence to obviously discourage the students from climbing this particular area, yet these did not deter the students from scaling the fence, anyway.
But a lot of netizens actually applaud what this group is doing, cheering them on for having fun in their high school days. Many netizens even claimed that your high school is not complete if you had not tried cutting classes.
“Basta d buo ang high school life pag dka danas mag bakod..sa iba wag hypokrito..gaya ng admin na to🙄🙄🙄 Sa mga akyat bakod gang magingat lang mga besss kapit mabute…” a female netizen commented.
“Haha pag dating ng araw yan magandang topics nila sa mga group chat nilang mag babatch,, katulad namin ngayun ,bida bida mga tumatalon sa bakod,” another one chimed in.
But many were concerned about the students’ well-being, especially because that fence looked rather high and dangerous. Moreover, these netizens pointed out that the students’ parents sent them to school to learn, not to escape from their classes because they just want to have fun.
But there were actually more people who had a good laugh over the photos, commenting that these actually bring back memories of their own life in high school…
