MANILA, Philippines – Maine Mendoza will soon star in an ABS-CBN movie with Carlo Aquino.
Just a few weeks before Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo's movie will premiere, the other half of popular loveteam "AlDub" will soon star in another film under the Kapamilya network.
Fans are excited and thrilled after photos of Maine Mendoza with Carlo Aquino were released online.
Black Sheep Productions announced that Maine and Carlo are the newest on-screen tandem for a romantic movie entitled "Isa Pa With Feelings."
Black Sheep Productions is dubbed as the "newborn sister" of Star Cinema, both are under ABS-CBN. Star Cinema head Olivia Lamasan described Black Sheep as" catering to the millennial market." They have been responsible for blockbuster hits such as Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's "Alone/Together" and Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban's "Exes Baggage."
Maine and Carlo's romcom film, "Isa Pa With Feelings" will be directed by Prime Cruz. Details of the film have yet to be released but Dirke Prime gave a teaser. He said the movie will be about "two broken people who find each other."
As expected, fans went wild online. The hashtags "#IsaPaWithFeelings" and "#CarloMaineBlackSheep" quickly trended on Twitter with fans sharing their excitement.
Many shared how they couldn’t wait for the film.
There were also those who recalled how Maine used to claim she “fangirls” over Carlo Aquino. The Kapuso star once shared how excited she was to have a photo with the Kapamilya actor.
