Banwa Private Island has grabbed international media attention for its whooping price and rates. To enjoy the luxury private resort, customers have to pay $100,000 or PHP5.2 million per night for a minimum of 3 nights.
The ultra exclusive resort has 15 acres of private land with a 360-degree view of Palawan.
Guests can enjoy the clear blue water of the Sulu Sea by swimming or play beach activities such as kayaking, beach volleyball, jet ski or diving.
Banwa Private Island only accommodates 48 guests at a time. They will be housed in one of 6 villas overlooking the beach. Each one comes with a private jacuzzi deck, its own infinity pool or a garden suites.
Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows so guests can enjoy the lush tropical landscape.
Guests are also treated to a wide array of healthy and organic food. The resort offers fresh seafoods, fruits and vegetables all locally grown or sourced. They also have their own nutritionist and "juiceologist."
Visitors who are interested in culinary can even attend a cooking masterclass with the resort's in-house celebrity chef Nadedja Bouacha.
