MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Education (DepEd) released on June 15 the results of 2018 Principals' Test, conducted on December 9, 2018 in several exam centers nationwide. View on this page for H-O list of passers.
The 2018 Principals' Test passers and some advisories from the agency were announced in DepEd Memorandum 076 series of 2019.
As announced, only 148 hopefuls passed the 2018 Principals' Test. This is the lowest number of passers in recent memory.
Distribution of printed Certificates of Rating (CoR) to all test takers through the Quality Assurance Divisions of the Regional Offices (RO-QAD) will follow.

The administration of the test is DepEd's mechanism to select school heads in the public education sector - a qualifying process for interested applicants to Principal I positions. It is being implemented in coordination with the Schools Divisions Offices (DOs) through the Regional Offices (ROs).
In order to pass the test, takers must obtain a rating of at least 70% in each of the clustered domains. The exam covered situational critical thinking questions relevant to the role of school head, anchored on the domains of the National Competency-Based Standards for School Heads (NCBSSH) stipulated in DepEd Order No. 32 s. 2010.
