A policeman got married to a teacher he apprehended years before.
When we think of a love story, a police checkpoint would be the last setting we could think of. But for an unusual twist of events, a policeman and a teacher found love at a checkpoint.
On Facebook page Buhay Lespu, netizens were impressed with a love story shared. Teacher Clarisse Lazaro Jao was riding her motorcycle when a policeman called her out. The police were conducting their “Oplan Sita” in the vicinity and motorcycle riders were asked for a routine inspection. When policeman Moh Amir Cruz Saddaramil caught Teacher Clarisse, he was also “caught” with love at first sight.
The policeman took note of the lady's name and searched for her on Facebook. Teacher Clarisse wrote, "Na meet ko siya sa Oplan Sita dahil nga nagmomotor din ako then ayun hinanap niya name ko sa Facebook.”
The teacher was surprised but pleased. She continued, “Hindi ko akalain tinandaan niya talaga pangalan ko, laking gulat ko nung ni-add niya ako sa Facebook syempre ako din naman natuwa!”
Teacher Clarisse even shared a photo of the fateful night he was caught by his then soon-to-be-husband. She described the incident, “Ayan yung actual picture talaga na nasita ako kase kailangan nila i-comply lahat ng ginagawa nila tapos ako yung kauna-unahang na checkpoint.”
She added that while she was frustrated at first, everything happens for a reason. Their friendship began and their love became official when they finally said their I Do's. Teacher Clarisse and Sir Moh Amir got married on January 8, 2019.
The lovestruck policeman wrote about his wife, “You changed my life without even trying and I don’t think I can ever tell you how much you mean to me. I can’t imagine what things would be like if I hadn’t met you. I love you babe.”
The story went viral as netizens couldn't get enough of their unusual love story. The post has over 70,000 reactions since posting.
