Having lived together for 12 years, a couple decided to get married in a no-frills wedding that would seal their long-time union. But their photos would soon go viral, with people praising the photographer for transforming the simple wedding into one that looked fit to be included in fashion magazines!
Gilbert and Fely Joy Paz Ynclino did not have a lot of money, but in their wish to get married, they sought the help of their family members who readily pitched in to help. The bride and groom got married in borrowed clothes, while the entourage bought their own outfits.
A number of family members also volunteered to help in the wedding preparations, cleaning and decorating the couple’s home, cooking the food, and pitching in to help in any way they could.
Gilbert’s brother who works as assistant for photographer Michael See Apeles of Wowenkho Studios promised to sponsor the wedding photography.
The wedding was simple – the couple didn’t even have a honeymoon getaway, but their photos would melt hearts on the internet.
Apeles shared some of the photos he took for the wedding. He even included standard wedding photo poses, including pictures of the bride and the groom as they prepared for the ceremony, photos of the wedding symbols, and even the preparations for the wedding reception happening at the couple’s small yard.
He later wrote on Facebook as he shared some of the wedding photos:
Indeed, the photos were impressive! As if by magic, the photographer was able to transform the low-budget wedding into something that looked grand. You would think at first glance that the ceremony had been a lavish one, filled with plenty of decorations and beautiful things.
Netizens were impressed at both the photographer and the couple. Many praised Apeles for his amazing talent and also congratulated the couple for choosing a wedding that they could afford.
