MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is now hiring 400 Filipino nurses for deployment to Germany.
POEA recently released a statement that they are now accepting applications for nurses under the Germany Federal Republic's Triple Win Project. Last July 2018, the project already started hiring Filipino nurses under the management of the agency. Since it is under a government-to-government arrangement, applicants are not required to pay anything.
POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia earlier said in an interview: "It’s a government to government employment project, applicants need not pay anything. Private recruitment agencies are not involved in this project."
The German employer will be responsible for paying the visa and airfare and will help the employee look for a comfortable accommodation. Once settled and depending on the agreement, employee will shoulder the expenses of his/her accommodation in full or in part.
Hired nurses can expect bigger pays and benefits. POEA revealed that Filipino nurses will receive a gross monthly compensation starting at €1,900 (PHP118,000). After recognition, nurses’ salary will be increased to to €2,300 (PHP143,000).

Interested applicants are also required to have German language proficiency or is willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines to attain Level B1 (to be paid by the employer).
They are also required to attend the the language class in April and May 2019, or with B1 or B2 Language Proficiency Level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Qualified applicants must first register at POEA's online service (www.eservices.poea.gov.ph). Applicants must personally submit the listed required documents (fastened in a folder) with a heading "German Federal Employment Agency RSF No. 180028" at the Blas F. Ople Bldg. (formerly POEA Bldg.), Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.
Deadline for submission of applications at the POEA Central and its regional offices is on February 28. The interview by the employers is set by the end of March.

- must be Filipino citizen, male or female
- permanent resident of the Philippines
- holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- has an active Philippine Nursing License, with at least two years related professional experience (bedside) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and/or care institutions

- Attendance and/or level certificate for German language, if available
- Copy of valid Passport
- Certificate of POEA online Pre-employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS).
