MANILA, Philippines – (Updated December 24) The Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) management have released adjusted train service schedule for December 24 - 31, 2018 (Christmas Holidays) and Jan 1-2, 2019 (New Year) operations.

LRT-1 Schedule Christmas Holidays 2018
LRT-1, the oldest mass transit system in Southeast Asia, will have shorter operations on December 24 and 31.
Light Rail Manila Corporation (LMRC) on Wednesday said that northbound and southbound trips of the LRT-1 line begin at 4:30 a.m.
The last trip will be at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve (December 24) and 7 p.m. on New Year's eve (December 31).

LMRC said that normal operating schedule would resume on January 3, 2019.
LRT-2 Schedule Christmas Holidays 2018
The LRT-2 System will reduce its operating hours on December 24 and December 31, 2018 in anticipation of a significant decline in ridership and to allow its station/security personnel to celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve with their families.
MRT Schedule Christmas Holidays 2018
Manila Metro Rail Transit System also known as MRT Line 3 management announced the extended operating hours from December 16 to January 1 next year due to the influx of passengers.
The first train will depart from North Avenue station at 4:27 a.m. on December 16, 22, 23, 24, 30 and 31 while the first train will depart at 4:25 a.m. on December 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21.
On December 16, 22 and 23, the last train from Taft Avenue Station will depart at 11:03 p.m., while the last train on December 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 will leave Taft at 11:01 p.m.
MRT is also open to accept passengers on December 25 and January 1. At North Avenue and Taft Stations, the first train will depart at 6:28 a.m. The last train will depart at 9:10 p.m. at North Avenue while 10:03 p.m. at Taft Avenue.

Those looking for the Philippine National Railways (PNR) train schedule may refer to the timetable posted on their website.
As of press time, no announcement yet if there will be a deviation on the normal schedule.
MMDA Advisory
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the suspension of Number Coding Scheme for private vehicles starting December 24 until January 2.
MMDA also lifted the number coding for provincial buses from December 21 until January 2.
