MANILA, Philippines – The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia recently announced the urgent need to hire 1,000 female nurses to be assigned in hospitals and medical facilities across the country, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) confirmed.
Successful applicants hired for the job will get a starting salary of SR4,110 (around Php58,000) plus benefits. According to the job order, the salary will also increase yearly.
Aside from the basic salary, the nurses will also be entitled to free food, free accommodation, transportation allowance, and a paid annual vacation that also comes with free round-trip economy tickets.
What makes the job offer even more interesting is that there will be no placement fees collected from the applicants as this program is part of a government-to-government transaction, the POEA also confirmed.
However, the applicants should meet the qualifications and requirements as well as pass the interview to be conducted by some officials from the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. The interview will be conducted at the Saudi Recruitment Office in Makati from November 12 to 16, 2018.
Due to the tight schedule, the applications are required to personally submit their applications and completed documentary requirements to POEA regional offices on or before November 9, 2018. However, applications will still be accepted up to November 16, 2018, at the POEA office on Ortigas Avenue in Mandaluyong.
Since there are only 1,000 positions available, applicants are encouraged not to wait for the deadline to pass their requirements.
Applicants must be female, should have graduated from Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), should hold a license from the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC), should have passed the Saudi Council Certificate/Prometric test, and should have worked for at least 2 years as nurse.
