Being a mom is one of the most wonderful but also most challenging aspects in a woman’s life. Taking care of your children, raising them, feeding them, sending them to school, and making sure they grow up to be good people can be a huge challenge to take, indeed.

But just imagine having to raise eight children, working several jobs at the same time and also juggling time for you to complete your college education? That’s one tall order but for Lorlie Noblezada, it was a challenge that she was willing to do for love.

Nanay Lorlie and her husband Rizalde Noblezada live in Miagao, Iloilo where they are raising their eight children.

Life was tough for the two, especially because Nanay Lorlie wasn’t really used to working as she had always depended on her mother and aunt. When the two passed away, however, Nanay Lorlie learned to work – and work she did!

She’s gone through many different jobs, some she did at about the same period and she had to juggling her time between her different tasks. But she did not complain because she knew she needed to work harder for her children.

Aside from helping her fisherman husband, Nanay Lorlie also sold fish in the market. Then, she became a traffic enforcer, massage therapist, messenger, private security guard, Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteer, and organic salt entrepreneur.

Amazingly, even as she juggled time for those tasks and raising her kids, Nanay Lorlie also set some time aside to continue with her studies after receiving scholarship – and she succeeded!

Nanay Lorlie has graduated from college and now focuses on being an organic salt entrepreneur, along with her family.
