MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Wednesday, October 17 named the topnotchers (top 10) of August 2018 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View on this page for professional level list of highest placers.
Salveregina Samuelle Sarnillo from Central Visayas, with a rating of 92.35, bested 159,283 examinees of the Career Service Professional level.
The Professional level posted a 12.25 percent passing rate.
CSC said that 22,087 or 12.14% of 181,985 examinees of CS exams passed the exams.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the August 2017 CSE-PPT, Adrian Callangan from Region II (Cagayan Valley) topped the eligibility exam with 90.87%. It was followed by Bicol Region's Merynel Gratuito with 90.27%. A total of 196,819 examiness took the exams.
In the October 2016 exams, Clinton John Minglana from CARAGA region bested 175,305 total examinees of the Professional test, 91.17%. Joelle Sophia Peña from the National Capital Region (NCR) ranked second with 90.62%.
