MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the September - October 2018 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam. The full list of performance of schools is also available on this page as released on November 6, 2018 or in five (5) working days after the exam.
PRC conducted the second Physician board exam this year on September 8-9 and October 27-28 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao. The third and fourth day of exam was originally scheduled on September 15 and 16 but rescheduled to later date due to onslaught of typhoon “Ompong.”

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the September - October 2018 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the same period last year, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) and Saint Luke's College of Medicine (SLCM) were the rank 1 top performing schools garnering 100% passing rate, 122 and 83 takers passed, respectively. West Visayas State University (WVSU) - La Paz ranked second with 99.01% or 100 out of 101 passed.
In the September 2016 exams, Pamantsan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and SLCM dominated the schools with 100% passing rate, 115 and 75 examinees passed, respectively. University of the Philippines (UP) -Manila ranked second with 98.67% or 148 out of 150 passed the exams.
