It is a sad reality that there are just so many people who just can’t be content with having one person to love. Even though their partners are faithful and love them wholeheartedly, they just want to enjoy the excitement of having a fling!
One passenger witnessed the dramatic moment a Grab driver discovered that his wife was cheating on him. It was embarrassing and heartbreaking at the same time – and his live tweets about the moment would soon go viral.
According to Jobim Javier, he was riding a Grab car when the driver’s phone rang. Since it was connected to the car stereo’s Bluetooth, he could also hear the voice at the other end of the line.
At first, it seemed like the driver’s voice just couldn’t reach the other end but after a few repeated “hellos”, Javier and the driver quickly realized the call wasn’t intended for him and must have been dialed accidentally.
At the other end of the line was the driver’s wife, affectionately called “lablab ko” (my love) on his address book – but she wasn’t talking to him at all. It was apparent that she was cavorting with some guy and they were doing something definitely not appropriate.
The driver was certainly embarrassed to have his passenger his hear this but he just couldn’t also let the matter pass. Since Javier had heard the woman’s cheating act, anyway, the driver didn’t seem to mind now that he was there when he called the woman’s phone back.
But just like any person cheating on their loved one, she was quick to deny the matter and said that she had just gone out to buy Junior some milk. Uhm.
When the driver pointed out that he heard her, she quickly made up the perfect excuse: she was also buying diapers.
But what about the ‘daddy’ thing? Well, she said she was talking to her dad!
But the driver was smart – and he probably suspected or knew all along that his wife was cheating on him. His retort had Javier clapping silently as he heard the wife begging for her husband to come home so they can talk about it.
Frustrated but not wanting to show it to his wife, the Grab driver hung up the phone.
Then, he turned to Javier and sighed about his sad love story.
It was heartbreaking.
We hope Manong Grab can get over this situation and that his wife would change her ways and stay loyal with him from now on…
