UP administered the entrance exam to more than 80,000 aspiring scholars on October 21-22, 2017 in at least 76 test centers nationwide.

Ad advised, if you qualify for admission to the University, register according to the instructions provided by the college or unit to which you have been accepted.
The UPCAT is consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency (English and Filipino), Science, Math and Reading Comprehension (English and Filipino). Standardized UPCAT scores are combined with the weighted average of 3 years of high school final grades to determine the UP admission grade.
To maintain its high standard of education and to maximize its limited resources, the University has had to limit slots for freshman admission to each campus and to its various degree programs.
This year, UP will welcome the first batch of freshmen who will continue to university after the full implementation of Senior High School (SHS) as part of the K to 12 program.
