MANILA, Philippines — The Magnolia Hotshots are looking to stop the good run of San Miguel Beermen from achieving a rare "four-peat" in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
In Game 4 crucial match on Wednesday, April 4, Magnolia hopes to equalize the series in front of the much-favored squad.
The Beermen ride the momentum of dominant wins in their last two games. "I think it's about time pag-aralan nila ng mabuti ang gagawin namin," said San Miguel coach Leo Austria.
UPDATE: PBA Finals Game 4: San Miguel makes it 3 in-a-row, sends Magnolia to the brink of elimination
Magnolia coach Chito Victolero said his team must play A1 basketball in the entire ball game in order to defeat San Miguel.
"We need to find a way to play 48 minutes of consistent basketball. Kasi mag-relax lang kami ng isang minute, umaalagwa na agad sila," said Victolero.
"We'll try to find ways. We won't stop looking for ways to beat them," Victolero added.
Game 4 is set at 7:00 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.
