MANILA, Philippines - Eat Bulaga artist Maine Mendoza decided to sell her preloved branded shoes and clothes online to help send kids to school.
The Dubsmash Queen took part in her fan’s club, AlDub Nation scholarship drive by raising more funds. But instead of just donating money, Maine decided to also share a part of herself to her fans and supporters by selling her preloved items.
The Kapuso star announced on Twitter that she has launched the “Shop, Bid Donate 2” on Carousell app. From there, fans can choose to buy several of her branded items for an affordable price. Some items on sale are her Zara shirt for P150, Cotton On crop top for P200, Gucci red espadrille for P19,000, Chanel patent espadrille for P30,000, and many more. Those who wish to buy the items right away can bid higher than the suggested price. Maine revealed that all sales and proceeds will help ADN students fund their school fees.
Maine takes fangirling to a more productive light
This isn’t the first time that the Phenomenal star used her influence to help pour in donations for those in need. Earlier this year, Maine retweeted and supported the request of Jessie Barrios in need of fund for a bone marrow transplant. Another was the “HoletoWhole heart” project for a kid named Allen with an inborn defect. Maine and the AlDub Nation worked hand in hand to help them. It was later revealed that they were able to raise P100,000 in just one day.

Hi! Some might be aware that I am planning to have a garage sale but due to schedule constraints, I’ve decided to host it in Carousell! I have posted some items (& will be be posting a lot more) that will benefit the ADN Scholarship drive. Hope you can support me on this one! 😊 pic.twitter.com/zUx3P9aNK2— Maine Mendoza (@mainedcm) March 11, 2018
