"My tears are a mix of happy and sad tears because I'm going to miss all of you. I hope to see you guys again. I love you,” the singer said.
On social media, KZ’s Instagram and Facebook pages were flooded with messages of appreciation for the singer’s journey. Many were disappointed but said that they were proud of her.
The singer also confirmed that she will be having her first ever major solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum this coming June.
On Jessie J’s Instagram account, the UK singer posted a selfie with KZ describing her as one of the “amazing people” she worked with on Singer. During KZ’s debut in the singing contest, she beat her “idol” Jessie J as she secured her spot as a contender in the contest.
