MANILA, Philippines - Fire broke out anew at House Technologies Inc. (HTI), a factory located inside the Economic Processing Zone (EPZA) in Rosario, Cavite, Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla said Friday, January 19, 2018.
Remulla says the fire that started from the wood cutting area of HTI at 9:49 p.m. on Friday reached third alarm.
Remulla added there's no people inside the building when the fire sparked.
Senator Richard Gordon tweeted that the Philippine Red Cross - National Headquarters (PRC NHQ) has dispatched two fire trucks, and two ambulance units from Cavite and Pasay Chapter.
The fire was declared "under control" at 11:49 p.m.
HTI is the same factory that was hit by fire on February 1 last year.The incident resulted in five fatalities who all died in hospital and not during the fire incident, reports said.
