MANILA, Philippines - The much-anticipated ABS-CBN's Christmas Station ID for 2017 officially released on Monday, November 13, on flagship news program TV Patrol.
With the theme “Just Love Ngayong Christmas,” the star-studded music video features Kapamilya artists, loveteams, and journalists. It highlights the importance of love and peace this Yuletide season.
"This Christmas, we celebrate these admirable Filipino traits. By gathering images and videos that went viral online, we focus the spotlight on individuals and organizations with inspiring stories.
#JustLove, ABS-CBN’s new theme, is the hymn of our collective voices, stories and dreams for our family and our country," the Kapamilya network added.
Its powerful lineup of singers includes Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Piolo Pascual, Toni Gonzaga, Ogie Alcasid, Erik Santos, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Billy Crawford, Yeng Constantino, Darren Espanto, Boyband PH, Morissette Amon, Angeline Quinto, Klarisse, Jona, Kyla, Daryl Ong, Jason Dy, KZ Tandingan, "Jambayan" members Inigo Pascual, Zia Quizon, Moira Dela Torre, Kaye Cal, Migz Haleca, and Isabela Vinzon, Jeremy Glinoga, Mica Becerro, and Jona Marie Soquite of "The Voice Teens," Ella Nympha and Xia Vigor of "Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids," John Clyd Talili of "Tawag ng Tanghalan," and Angel of "Little Big Shots".
The song also emphasizes how God’s love can inspire anyone and everyone. To highlight the message, the Kapamilya children singers end the song by telling everyone to spread love.
"Ang pag-ibig ng Diyos sisinag sa lahat...," the song lyrics stated.
Hours before the official launch, netizens and Kapamilya viewers around the world have shown support as "#justLOVEday" trended no. 1 on Twitter nationwide.
